Lumia Browser is free and it is compatible with all modern Windows versions. Apart from selecting a destination folder and creating shortcuts, you don't have to make any settings during the installation process. Also, there is no need to install any prerequisite tools and you don't have to sacrifice too many resources for this program.

By default, Lumia Browser displays a new tab page, when you launch it, on which you can find options for performing a web search and for accessing bookmarks and general configuration options. The general settings menu can be accessed through an icon as well, which is located in the upper right corner of the interface, so you don't have to create a new tab each time you wish to change something. Web pages can be bookmarked instantly, by clicking another icon, in the same area.

Other options can be found in a drop-down menu. You can use them to switch to retrieve information about the current web page, save it as a PDF document, open the browser's built-in download manager or switch to private mode, if you don't want to leave any traces of your browsing habits. The general settings menu consists of several tabs, on which you can find your bookmarks and browsing history, as well as options for tweaking the browser's appearance and behavior. You can set Lumia Browser to display a specific web page when you launch it, create a new tab or hit the Home button. Additionally, the program allows you to choose a default search engine. Bookmarks can be backed up and restored at a moment's notice and you can also clear your current bookmarks, along with your browsing history, cookies and other items, with nothing more than a single click.
